Comment Policy

This blog is a place for San Carlos residents and interested parties to share opinions about our city, policies and related issues.

Let’s be clear about this point: This blog is (among other things) a place where I solicit comments, honest debate and dialogue. These types of exchanges are welcome, but the following will be removed by editors:

  • Potentially libelous comments
  • Abusive comments
  • Comments containing ad-hominem attacks
  • Comments promoting hate of any kind
  • use of excessively foul language
  • Obscene or sexually explicity comments.
  • Personal attacks, insults, or threatening language.
  • Plagiarized material or material that violates intellectual property rights.
  • Private, personal information published without consent.
  • Commercial promotions or spam.
  • Comments that are off topic or that link to material that is off topic.
  • Comments that violate any law.

People who comment will be respectfully treated as guests. As a guest here at this blog, you are expected to behave as a guest would be at anyone’s home. Unwelcome behavior will have you “shown the door.”

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service as violation of the terms can lead to legal liability.
