I’ve started using Twitter a bit and think it may be an interesting way to keep folks up to date.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks to everyone who came out today to tour areas in San Carlos which may be apprpriate sites for Transit Oriented Development (TOD).  This is an important step in the dialog our community will have as we look to:

• our future housing needs
• addressing traffic congestion
• enhancing quality of life for existing residents

There are many issues which need thoughtful dialog, and I once again thank everyone who came out to learn more.

On August 11 – the City Council approved a new recycling program which will introduce weekly pickup of materials as well as collection of food scraps for composting. I’ll look forward to educational programs moving forward to help folks figure out how to best use this new service.
